Excerpt: His eyes are on fire. He pushes me back through the door and locks it. “Oh, Lexi. You were taking too long in here.” Ordinarily this type of thing would scare the hell out of me, but he makes it seem so fucking hot. I put my hands up in protest, but he grabs them as he pushes me against the restroom wall. Raising my hands above my head with one hand, he strokes my face with the other all the while pressing his body against mine. I can feel that his dick is fully erect and ready for business, which only causes my pussy to become a traitor to my body. “If you don’t want to do this, all you have to do is say no. I’ll walk out of here like nothing happened and I will take you back to your car.” He whispers this in my ear and for some reason I believe him. “What do you say, Lexi? Yes or No?” I can barely hear myself mumble yes. That’s all the good doctor needed to hear.
Book Review
My Rant:
The Way Back to Me Way was such a good book. It was such an
erotic and funny story. Lexi is trying to hold herself together for the sake
of her three daughters after her marriage with Benjamin turned in to a disastrous
divorce due to her personal trainer and home wrecker Gracie. Yes I said it,
home wrecker Gracie. But what infuriated me was when that witch, Gracie needed
Lexis help. After destroying Lexi home this jezebel needed her help. Lexi was
way better than me because I tell you, I would have given Gracie the smack down
of her life and would not had thought twice about it. (Giggles). Trust me I am
not a violent person. But when someone wrecks your home like Gracie did Lexi’s
you can believe that you would just go bat sh**t crazy.
Lexi’s sister Layla thought it
would be a great idea to have Lexi visit her for a while so that she can help
Lexi find herself through dieting, working out and having hot erotic sex with
strangers. The hilarious thing about Layla’s plan was that Layla had her own issues
in the bedroom with her husband Eric and here she is giving advise to Lexi..
Layla is set out to explore sexual adventures with her husband and it turns out
that things are quite not working out as she planned it too.
“ Lexi go help your sister free herself, love Eric. What the F**k, I haul a$$ to Layla room and brace myself. I am almost scared to open the door. Very slowly, I turn the handle and push the door open.
Oh Lexi thank goodness you’re here!!! Please Please Please help me.”
Freaking hilarious….. OMG I laugh
so hard at this scene in the book. Saying to myself Who does this sh**t? LMAO.
Frustrated at her own dilemmas
Layla forces Lexi to live out her sexual fantasy bucket list. When Lexi and
Layla get together its like poring gasoline on a campfire. But their wild and
crazy adventures would not be as fun and witty without the sexy Dane, Sebastian and Eric. But my favorite
male characters in the book are Dane and Sebastian. They were completely hot. I
mean OMG Dane, the ex athlete, he just oozed with sex appeal and when you
thought that he would be the leading man on the scene the author switched it
up. It turns out that Sebastian is all
that and a bag of chips, literally. Sebastian was completely smart, sexy and a
Dom with attitude. What a great combination. When he came into the picture I
know I had to be drooling because his character was so hot your body melted at
his description. The author gave you entrancing details about both men so you
could just picture how sexy they were and the fun part of the book was that you
could live vicariously through Lexi while reading, no strings attached Lol.
As the book goes on you begin the
see Lexi find herself and the confidence she needs to face her trials and
tribulations. She begins to live life to the fullest but focusing on the bigger
picture, her children. Re-learning whom she was and what she was capable of
allowed her to pick up the pieces and turn a bad situation into a great one.
My Recommendation:
Overall a rated this book 4 out
of 5 purple rant hearts. It was erotic and funny. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a steamy contemporary
romance with a pop of comedy.
