7 Day Loan - Tiffany Reisz

Seven Day LoanSeven Day Loan by Tiffany Reisz
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was short but it was good. Although the ending did not go the way I wanted too, yes I am pouting :-(, I would prefer Eleanor to choose the librarian over her priest. Yes the priest who is a Dom. lol.

Being his favorite - Charity Parkerson

Being his FavoriteBeing his Favorite by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

The book was ok not great. It started off steamy but ended up being blah, just like it flat lined lol. At the beginning you think you know the direction of the story then it takes a twist and your like WTF..... literally and it ends, it ends and your left with nothing.

Seducing The King by Laura Kaye

Seduced by the Vampire King (Vampire Warrior Kings, #2)Seduced by the Vampire King by Laura Kaye
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I love the short stories on the vampire warrior kings, I really enjoyed the characters Katherine and Nicholia. These short stories have a little BDB feel to them. I would like to get more about the characters. I thought the second book of the series would pick up where we left off especially with Kael but instead we are introduced to new character with a different story.

In The Sevice of The King -Laura Kaye

In the Service of the King (Vampire Warrior Kings, #1)In the Service of the King by Laura Kaye
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

In the service of the king was a steamy little snippet of a story. There not much to say without giving the story away. I liked the short story but longed for more. By the time you connect with the characters the story was over. I rated it 3 stars because I wanted more of the story...lol

Hearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye

Hearts in DarknessHearts in Darkness by Laura Kaye
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Here is another steamy short story I just loved. Ok, so this book did not have a vampire or werewolf and it dealt with humans without magical powers, frown, :-( but it was a great love story. I know, I know, I miss my supernatural beings with kick ass attitudes but this was a honest romance we all look for in life. I really was able to connect with both characters and I liked the way the author spoke from each of them displaying the emotions, strengths and weakness to the reader. I found the authors style of writing refreshing. I would definitely add Laura Kaye to my list of authors to read from.

The Geek Job by Eva Langlais

The Geek JobThe Geek Job by Eve Langlais
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was better that I thought it would be. Although I rather read a book that starts of with a kick ass alpha male. This book started with the heroine being the dominant figure in the story. I loved the shy and meekness of the geek and come to really admire his persona, but when our geek turned alpha male my heart almost burst with excitement. And yes the steamy scenes were off the chain. The book left me in a new state of mind of reading more books with strong heroines and I am so contemplating finding a vampire and werewolf serum to stab the DH with. LMAO. I so need a geek in my life. :-)

Bad Moon Rising -Sherrilyn Kenyon - DH Sereis

Bad Moon Rising (Dark-Hunter, #18) (Were-Hunter, #5)Bad Moon Rising (Dark-Hunter, #18) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really did enjoy Fangs and Amy's book. The book definitely gave more details and insight to what Fang went through. I was able to connect to both of the main characters. Fang and Amy were very strong but vulnerable which made for a good story. I like that we were able to get the back story to fang and Amy but there was some parts left out because they were in other books.
In this book there were not a lot of scenes with the Dark-hunters but I was intrigued by the new characters that were introduced. Thorn Satan's son and ruler of the hell for demons persuaded Fang to sell his sole to him. While in service to thorn Fang has turned into a hell-chaser. Really interesting to see the story combined yet another breed of demon hunters. I enjoyed the hell-chaser, we were introduced to Zek back in an analogy but you did not get a full story about him
