For a while now I haven’t been reading much due to work and classes, I need to take for my certification. I just could not find time to get the reading in. While at a gathering with my girls I felt so left out of the book conversations because I was so behind on my reading. I decided this weekend I would pick my kindle up and get back in to the rhythm of enjoying my hobby. I started off by reading short erotic stories and once I completed them I was in a rut to figure out what I would read next. It is now 11 pm and decided to search through some of the paranormal short romance stories that I download from Amazon for free. As I was scrolling I came upon a book that caught my eye. Reapers by Marata Eros.
I glanced at the size of the book and thought to myself that this would be an easy read before I went to sleep. I was so wrong.
Reapers completely captured me. I had no idea the book was so good. Reapers had everything I desired in a book, alpha males, action and steamy scene that would make your heart burst. I fell in love with the characters and related to them on so many levels I couldn’t breath as the characters went through their trials and tribulations lol. I was at the edge of my seat the whole way through. When I thought I figure out the outcome to the story, thinking that Rachel and Cole would be together and live happily ever after the book turned me. It turns out the Rachel’s kidnapped and Cole is injured. My heart pounded with anticipation. The book ends, the author pulls an Alfred Hitchcock and I was sitting here with a bead of sweat on my forehead because I needed to know what was going to happen to Rachel and Cole. Heart racing I fire up the kindle store to see if there is another book and to my relief there was and there were 5 more books in the series Yay!. I immediately download the book and began to get sucked in The Druid Breeders Series. The series was so good that I decided to follow the author on goodreads. After chatting with the Ms.Eros through email (she was so nice) about her series I knew I would be a huge fan of her work. I haven’t been this excited about a series since I read JR Ward Black Dagger Brother Hood. If you haven’t done so already, you should check out her books. I can guarantee that you would be in for a real treat.
