Comfort food took me by complete surprise. It was dark but at the same time enlightening. This book took me on a complete emotional roller-coaster ride. Most of the book was written from the females point of view but I liked the way the author gave insight to what the male was thinking. I felt like I was being romanced and enslaved at the same time.
